Obituary

Jean I Reilly, 90, of Franklin, passed away peacefully after a short illness on February 16, 2021. Jean was the center of her family and beloved by everyone she met.

She was born and raised in Franklin, MA and was the daughter of the late Percy and Eleanor Lloy.

Jean had two children, Paula Reilly of Wyoming and Kenneth Reilly of Dudley. She also is survived by three grandchildren, Nicholas Reilly of Franklin, Amanda Reilly of Franklin and Heather Reilly of Dudley and her two great-grandchildren Damion Reilly of Franklin and Jordynn Reilly of Franklin.

Her days were filled submerged in the pages of the books she loved while sitting in the sun in her favorite chair. She had a love of sewing and was known to many as the town seamstress. Sundays were spent sharing laughs and food with family around the table. This tradition lasted for many many years.

Jean loved to travel and her favorite place was floating down the Snake River in Wyoming under the Teton Mountains. Through the years, she would spend weeks visiting her daughter Paula out west and went on many adventures.

Jean was an exemplary role model and leader for the rest of her family. She worked part-time at the Town Hall of Franklin for many years after retiring and only recently stopped at the age of 88.

Due to the pandemic, there are no visiting hours. The family will honor Jean at a later date
