Martha C. (Cerbus) Lash, 99, of Anderson, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2021 at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on May 5, 1921 in Butler, PA, the daughter of John and Mary (Boratko) Cerbus. She married H. Howard Lash in 1951. They lived in several towns in Ohio until moving to Anderson in 1961. She worked at Anderson College and the Board of Church Extension of the Church of God and attended Park Place Church of God.
She is survived by her three daughters Cindy (Dick) Peck of Nineveh, Carol (Mike) Hanna of Pendleton, and Barbara (Steve) Linder of Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Vivienne (Ben) Ross of Greenwood, Kyle (Sara) Linder of Arlington, VA and Kelsey (fiancé Denny Alcorn) Linder of Cincinnati; and three great grandsons Oscar, Ian and Caleb. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Garnetta (Donald) Vaughn of Livonia, MI and numerous nieces and nephews including Susan Horevay and Brenda (George) Caldwell of Anderson.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband and nine siblings.
A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
