George J. Duguay, 68, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in his North Providence, RI home. He was a former ticket agent for the Amtrak railroad and a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School.
George was an avid guitar player, enjoyed playing billiards and loved watching football. He supported his brothers and sisters in AA for many years and we were so proud of his many years of sobriety. He was kindhearted and funny.
George was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Flore (Dufresne) Duguay.
He is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Pineault and Jacqueline Gatlin, both of North Kingstown, RI; his two sons in law, Dennis Pineault and Joe Gatlin; his two sisters; Jeannie Vasconcellos and Janet Scorpio; his two brothers in law, Michael Crepeau and Anthony Scorpio, his four grandchildren: Simone, Caleb, Jaxson and Aubrey; as well as two nephews and four nieces and their respective families. He was the brother of the late Julie Smith and brother in law of the late Norman Smith.
A private funeral service was held at the convenience of the family.
