SPENCER: Denise A. Messier, 60, of Linden Street died Monday, February 15 in her home after a long illness.
She leaves her longtime companion John Gaucher with whom she lived. Two brothers; Richard W. Messier and his wife Ruth of Spencer, Roland A. Messier, Jr. and his wife Donna of Spencer, three sisters; Elaine J. Devlin of Webster, Jeannine M. Clark of Brookfield and Michelle M. Messier of North Brookfield, and many nieces and nephews.
Denise was born in Worcester, daughter of Roland A. and Lorraine M. (Lapierre) Messier, Sr. She graduated from David Prouty High School. She was a waitress for many years at several area restaurants including the Spencer Country Inn.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr. is directing funeral arrangements.
