Paul E. Patrie, of Malden, February 14th. Beloved husband of Linda (Lockhart) Patrie. Loving father of Matthew Patrie of Woburn, Megan LoPilato and her husband Derek of Malden and Allyson Patrie-Juraudo and her husband Alvaro of Saugus. Cherished grandfather of Cameron, Ava and Ryan. Dear brother of Janet Lanni and her husband Jack of Malden, Judy Berry of Malden and the late Robert Patrie and George Patrie Jr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Paul has been a resident of Malden for most of his life. He is a graduate of Immaculate Conception Grammar School, Malden Catholic High School and Boston State College. He worked as an Insurance Underwriter for the John Hancock Insurance Company and the Savings Bank Life Insurance Company respectively for many years. When his children were young, Paul volunteered his time as a Malden Little League Coach and a Malden Youth Soccer Coach. He was one of the founders of Malden Youth Soccer. Fresh water fishing was one of his favorite hobbies. He also enjoyed travel, listening to his favorite music and cheering for all of the Boston sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. Paul was a member of the First Baptist Church in Malden for several years. First and foremost, he was dedicated to his wife, to his children and to his grandchildren. Relatives & friends are invited to attend visiting hours at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday February 17th from 4-7 PM. All other services are private.
