Obituary

AUBURN___Thomas M. Stachura, 86, died on Sunday, February 7, 2021, after a brief illness.

A lifelong resident of Auburn, he graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School before joining the Army, during which he served in Germany during peace time. As a devoted parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Auburn, he was a daily communicant for decades and loved the Rosary. He was a child of GOD and truly an heir to heaven. Mr. Stachura was a talented tool and die maker, owning his own machine shop and small engine repair business and a man of many talents! He was a member of the N.R.A and the Auburn Sportsman's Club.

He was a son of the late John and Helen (Rudnik) Stachura. He was predeceased by his brothers, Paul, John Jr. and Joseph Stachura, as well as a sister, Mary Renaud. He leaves a brother, Rev. Thaddeus X. Stachura, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, on Saturday, February 20, 2021 from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in the Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery in Webster. The Funeral Mass will be livestreamed at www.olcworcester.com. Current guidelines for capacity, wearing facemasks and social distancing will be followed throughout services.

The family kindly requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to St. Joseph’s Church, 194 Oxford St. N, Auburn, MA 01501 and/ or to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester, MA 01610.
