Obituary

Jennie Lee Duby of Marshfield, MA passed away peacefully on February 7, 2021 at the South Shore Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late Maida Louise (Johnson) and James Edward Farrar.

She is survived by her sister Beverly O’ Brien and her children Charles Metcalf, Robert Metcalf, Alesia Duby, Audra Turner and predeceased by her daughter Bonnie Chaves, widowed by Arthur Louis Duby, Jr.

Jennie was also known as Nana, Nan and Neno by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her family and many friends. Jennie always lit up everyone’s life with her presence and was the wind beneath many wings.

Jennie was born in Brockton, MA. She went to school in the Whitman School District and graduated at a later date.

She was a jack of all trades and a master of all having many occupations over the years, her last occupation was a waitress/hostess at a restaurant. She loved working with people.

She was Baptized in 1971.

Her children always reached out to her for her great advice.

Jennie’s favorite place was the ocean and her family made many great memories with her at the beach. Her favorite food was lobster (seafood) and coffee ice cream. She loved to cook and loved cooking shows and was always the one to feed her crowd with plenty.

She loved spending time with family and was concerned about everyone else before herself. She had best friends that she loved dearly. She had a love for her “Fur Babies” and spoiled them of course!

Jennie passed away on a day with beautifully fallen snow and will always be remembered her by her Snow Flake Kisses. Her children will always be proud of the adults they became because of her.

“Mom we know you are swimming with Bonnie and the dolphins and with baby Dean riding on your back. We love you to the moon and back.”

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
