Edward H. “Jerry” Winslow, 76, of Mansfield died unexpectedly on Sunday March 19, 2006 in Foxboro.
Born in Foxboro, MA on January 28, 1930 he was a son of the late Benton C. and Ruth E. (Chamberlain) Winslow.
He was educated in Foxboro schools. He served in The United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a self-employed Carpenter for all of life before retiring.
His hobbies included fishing, boating, gardening, woodcarving, stain glass making and riding his all terrain vehicle. He received much enjoyment while spending time with his family. He had lived in Mansfield for many years and was formerly of Foxboro.
He is survived by 1 son Kaj Winslow and his wife Kara of Bourne. 2 Sisters Suzanne Jackson and her husband Wendell of Mansfield and Joan R. Hill of Arlington, Virginia. 1 Brother Lawrence Winslow and his wife Betty of Brewster. 1 granddaughter Savannah Winslow of Bourne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as his best friends Reggie Caldwell, Ron Buck , Bill Buck and Darwin Moore. He was the brother of the late Esther Phillips.
His funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Thursday March 23rd at 10:00 A.M. at The Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North main St. Mansfield. Burial will follow in The Rockhill Cemetery in Foxboro.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday March 22nd from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
