Diane M. Jackson, 72, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, February 10, 2021, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 11, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Earlie Holt officiating.
Mrs. Jackson was born November 14, 1948, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Rev. Forrest Ed & Evie Adean Rouse Mahoney. She was a 1966 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended Ben Hill Irwin Tech. Mrs. Jackson worked for General Telephone Company for 16 years and Dorminy Brothers Cattle for 6 years. She was a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband Charlie Vernon Jackson of Fitzgerald; one brother, Patrick Edward Mahoney of Tallahassee, Florida; a step-daughter, Debra Jackson of Atlanta and a special caregiver and friend, Pat Smith.
