Betty Francis Dorminey Brown, 69, of Evansville, Indiana, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006, at Browning Funeral Home in Evansville. Interment will follow in the Augusta Cemetery, Oakland City, Indiana.
Mrs. Brown was born July 19, 1936, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Archie and Ola Gill Dorminey. She was a caregiver and had lived in Indiana for many years.
Mrs. Brown is survived by nieces and nephews: William Stevens, R.L. Stevens, Lucy Mitchell, Louise Tilman, and Judy Burch, all of Fitzgerald, Lucille Wyatt of Sycamore, Martha Spraggins of Omega, and Thelma Stevens of Moultrie. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jay Brown; two sisters: Verna Stevens and Louise Upshaw; and two brothers: Jack Dorminey and Perry Dorminey.
