Obituary

Mrs. Marlene M. (St. Thomas) Marquis, 80, of Methuen, Passed away on February 4, 2021 at Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The daughter of the late Levi and Annie (Berube) St. Thomas she was born in Howland, ME on May 22, 1940. Mrs. Marquis moved to the Merrimack Valley in 1963 and lived here most of her life. She retired from Raytheon where she worked as an inspector after 25 years. Some of her passions were her love for cats, especially her own cat Lennie. Playing Rummy, going out for dinner, her word search puzzles, and just enjoying her life. Mrs. Marquis was at her happiest when she was surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Leonard J. Marquis. She was also pre-deceased by her four brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Marquis is survived by one son: Roger Marquis and his wife Judy of Manchester, NH, one daughter: Tina Augusta and her boyfriend Michael Viger of Lawrence. There are four grandchildren: Jennifer Boivin, Paul Marquis, Samantha Augusta, and Sara Augusta. She is also survived by five step grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 12th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Edgar J. Racicot Inc. Funeral Home 1400 Broadway Rd., Dracut. To ensure the safety of all, social distancing measures will be in place and face coverings are required. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 9:00 am at the Racicot Funeral Home, entombment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum.
