Chante Michelle Gracia, 2, of New Port Richey, Florida, died July 17, 2002 unexpectedly at home.
She was the daughter of Tinai Marie Gracia of New Port Richey and William Lawson of New Bedford, Mass.
Chante was born in Wareham, Mass., and had lived in New Bedford for 1 year before moving to New Port Richey.
She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in New Bedford.
Survivors include her parents; her maternal grandparents, Robin-Marie Gracia of New Port Richey and Michael Fortes, Sr., of New Bedford; her maternal great-grandparents, Marie (Duarte) Gracia, George Gracia, Peter and Marianne Fortes, all of New Bedford; her maternal great-great-grandparents, Roberto "Poppy" and Guilhermina "GiGi" (Rozario) Duarte, and Julia (Gilmette) Gracia, all of New Bedford; and many generations of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Monday, July 22, 2002 at 9AM. Visiting hours at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford, on Sunday, July 21, 2002 from 4-7 PM. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
