Auburn- Mary A. (Urban) Boehnke, 90, a former resident of Auburn died Friday, March 17th in Radius Healthcare of Worcester.
Her husband, William J. Boehnke, Sr. died in 1971. She leaves three sons, William J. Boehnke, Jr. of North Grafton, John P. Boehnke of Millbury, Paul D. Boehnke of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Judith A. wife of Paul E. Lesniewski of Auburn and Susan M. wife of Gerald M. Griffin of Worcester; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother Chester Urban of Millbury. She is predeceased by five sisters, Barbara Bozzi, Estelle Solomon, Helen Galkowski, Stasia Urban and Jane Ahaesy. She was born in Little Compton, RI, daughter of John and Apolina (Rozanski) Urban, living in Worcester most of her life before moving to Auburn in 1985.
Mrs. Boehnke was employed at the College of the Holy Cross before retiring in 1985. She was a former member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 21, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home.
