Kayli Raeann Griffith, 12, of Pendleton, died February 2, 2021 at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital after a lifelong illness.
She was born July 7, 2008 in Anderson, the daughter of Rocky A. and Amanda (Etchison) Griffith.
She was a seventh grade student at Pendleton Heights Middle School where she was a member of Best Buddies. She attended Northview Church and loved music, her family, always happy and smiling.
Survivors include her parents, two siblings, Chloe Griffith of Pendleton and Rocky (Alejandra) Griffith, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her paternal grandparents, Stella Duquette of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rick (Anita) Griffith of Vermillion, Illinois; maternal grandparents, Don Etchison and Marianne Etchison both of Anderson; five aunts and uncles, Devin Etchison of Anderson; Damian (Emily) Etchison of Lebanon, IN; Nadine (Steve) Brown of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Don Wilson of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Rick Griffith of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her great-aunt, Linda Davis; her two nurses, Jessica Smith and Jolene Davidson and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, John and Ann Etchison and Donald and Janice Cokley; paternal grandfather, Guy Duquette and her aunt, Dawn Etchison.
No service or visitation will be held.
Memorial contributions may be given to Best Buddies at Pendleton Heights Middle School.
