Ralph H. Calonne 75 of 95 Mt. Pleasant Rd. in N. Smithfield, RI died Friday at home. He was the husband of Claire (Lessard) Calonne. Mr. Calonne was born in Tourcoing, France a son of the late Jules and Rosine (Lefebvre) Calonne. He was a Sales Executive for the Miller Electric Co for thirty years before retiring in 1991. He had also worked in sales for the former Masurel Worsted Co. Mr. Calonne was a Korean War Army Veteran. He was a member of the Franco American Club and the American Legion, Berard Desjarlais Post.
Besides his wife he leaves a son Michael Calonne of Dallas Texas, and a daughter Susan Mehlenbacher of Harrisville, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:00 from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a service in the Funeral Home at 11:00. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery in Slatersville.
