Wanda Lynn Reeder Jansen, 66, of West Salem, Illinois passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Ms. Jansen’s nephew, Alvin Hawkes, will give a eulogy.
Born December 18, 1954 in Badkreuznach, Germany, Mrs. Jansen was the daughter of the late Franklin Lawrence Reeder and Georgia Moore Reeder. She was also preceded in death by one brother, Arthur Reeder. Before retiring, she worked as the office manager for the Plastic Surgery Unit at Indiana University. She was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Jansen is survived by her husband, John Jansen of West Salem, Illinois; one brother, Larry Reeder of West Salem, Illinois; and one sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Mike Hawkes of Lincolnton.
