SOMERSET… Gertrude T. (Jasmin) Powers, 98, of Somerset formerly of Fall River passed away, Monday, January 25, 2021 at Somerset Ridge.
She was the widow of Walter Powers.
Mrs. Powers was born in Fall River a daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Dubreuil) Jasmin and had lived most of her life in Fall River.
Survivors include a daughter Maureen Powers of Rehoboth, MA, 2 sons: Alan Powers of Port Charlotte, FL, Michael Powers of San Francisco, CA, a brother George Jasmin of VT, a sister Doris Pontes of Somerset, 4 grandchildren: Sara Logan, Ryan Powers, Renee Robinson, Ian Powers, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Normand Jasmin, Raymond Jasmin, Rita Fountain, Julie Davis, Lena Courville, Lillian Hess.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday at 8:30 A.M. at South Coast Funeral Home 1555 Pleasant St., Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at Holy Name Church, Hanover St., Fall River, MA. Social distancing and Masks are required. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River, MA.
