Irene G. Chaput, 101, died January 26, 2021 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on October 1, 1919 the daughter of Joseph and Augustine (Marquis) Gagnon.
Prior to her retirement she had worked for J. F. McElwain.
Family include two grandsons, James Guillemette and his wife, Blenda, and Gary Guillemette, a niece, Connie Roy Czyzowski, a nephew; Richard Roy one son-in-law, Raymond Guillemette and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by one daughter, Jacqueline Guillemette, and her siblings; Marguerite Gagnon, Roland Gagnon, Simone Roy, and George Gagnon.
A calling hour will take place on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9:30 to 10:30 am at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 1, 2021 following the calling hour at 11 am in Ste. Marie Church, Notre Dame Ave.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
