Dorothy E. (Benner) Thomas, 83, of Salem, NH died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. She had been a resident of Salem for the past 25 years, formerly of Pelham, NH.
She was born in Lawrence, MA where she grew up and was educated. She had worked at Sears in Salem, NH as an Assembler. She was previously employed at Hewlett Packard in Andover, MA, Parlex in Methuen, MA and Western Electric in No. Andover, MA. In her early years, she worked as a ship welder at the Boston Navy Yard with her father. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, MA.
She was the widow of James Thomas.

A Memorial Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
