
WORCESTER____Elizabeth S. (Doroz) Tarasiak, 68, of Worcester died peacefully at home with her family on Saturday, January 16, 2021. She is survived by her son Mark C. Tarasiak Jr., her ex-husband Mark C. Tarasiak Sr., a daughter, Isabella White, her domestic partner Robin White; grandchildren, Joshua Dussault and Desiree Tarasiak and great grandchild Rhea Dussault. She is predeceased by a brother Wojciech Doroz. Born in Kielce, Poland she was the daughter of Jan and Zofia (Lach) Doroz.
Mrs. Tarasiak immigrated to the United States with her family in 1965. She owned and operated a travel agency for many years. She attended St. Mary’s School and graduated from North High School. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church. Along with her family, Elizabeth assisted many Polish families to come to the United States. She was a hard-working woman with a passion for her family and a passion to help others. Was very active in the Polish community, loved to travel and experience the different cultures around the world. She will be dearly missed.
The funeral will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 a.m., in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester.
