Obituary

John Patrick Rheaume, 55, of Derry, NH died Monday January 18, 2021 in his Laconia, NH vacation home with his loving family by his side. He was born in Massachusetts on September 7, 1965, son of Ronald and Noreen (O'Connell) Rheaume.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nancy A. (Crowley) Rheaume, daughter Devin Rheaume and partner Mike Bride of Derry, NH, stepsons Bryan Hayward and wife Chelsea of Port St. Lucie FL, Brett Hayward of Manchester, NH, sister Brenda Rheaume-Wilson of Londonderry, NH and brother Patrick Curtin and his wife Jennifer of Cranford, NJ. He is also survived by his granddaughters Gemma, Destiny and Brooklyn as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

John grew up in Salem NH, attended local schools and graduated from Salem High School. He had a very successful career in the propane industry for many years. He was highly skilled and his expertise was recognized by all. He loved spending his leisure time boating, fishing, motorcycling, playing guitar, visiting with his family and playing with his dog Harley. John was known as a very good-natured friend to all and he will be sorely missed by many.

A walk-through wake with masks, social distancing and limited interaction with the family will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.centralvna.org , www.dana-farber.org or the charity of one’s choice.
