Barbara Joan (Murphy) Webb, 81, of Malden, MA passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021. Barbara is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years William Webb. Barbara was met in heaven by her daughter Lynda (Webb) Riordan.
She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret Murphy. She was predeceased by eleven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving children, Barbara Webb of Stoneham, MA, William Webb of Clearwater Beach, FL, Christopher Webb and his wife Cynthia of Cape Coral, FL, Jennifer Gibbons and her husband Keith of Methuen, MA, Jeffrey Webb and his wife Audrey of Los Gatos, CA, and her son-in-law Daniel Riordan of Rockland, MA.
She was “Nana” to and survived by her nine cherished grandchildren, Janel Webb, Jacqui Webb and her fiancé Paul Norden, Joshua Riordan, Nathaniel Riordan, Connor Gibbons, Trevor Gibbons, Zachary Webb, Mason Webb, and Courtney Webb.
She also is survived by her sister Catherine Barreira and many nieces and nephews.
Barbara was a fun-loving spirit who will be missed by many. She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering love, strength, and inspiration.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St in Malden. Services will conclude with Interment in Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation at the funeral home is private.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the American Heart Association.
