Obituary

Constance H. Paull (“Connie”), resident of Taunton, MA, formerly of Rehoboth, MA, passed away peacefully on January
13, 2021 at The Arbors, Taunton at the age of 89 years.
Connie was born May 12, 1931 in Attleboro, MA to the late Eugene and Eva (Dacier) Turgeon. She graduated from Dighton High School. On August 25, 1950, she married Francis (“Torchy”) Paull. They resided in Taunton and Rehoboth during their 50 years of marriage.
Connie was a devoted wife, homemaker, and mother. Her employment also included positions as floral designer at Plant Patch, childcare provider, cafeteria worker at Palmer River School, and retail associate at Cricket Hill Gift Shop in Rehoboth.
Over the years, she was a communicant at the former St. Stephen’s Church, Attleboro and Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church, Seekonk.
She was a skilled crafter, knitter, and sewing enthusiast who lovingly made hundreds of hand-made gifts for friends and family over the years. She enjoyed gardening and took pride in her family’s heirloom blooms.
She was a passionate fan of country music. Connie often displayed her “joie de vivre” on the dance floor where she was famous for dancing the jitterbug with her brothers; she savored the opportunity to shower love while celebrating family milestones.
Connie always took the time to inquire about others and relished hearing about their news and accomplishments. She was actively involved in the senior community and thrived on social interactions. Many remember her wonderful smile and laughter. She actively engaged in recreational and social activities at The Arbors where she forged many good friendships. Her family is grateful for the loving care she received there.
It gave Connie great pleasure to be involved in the lives of her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Known by her family, friends, and neighbors for her sincerity, humor, and caring, Connie will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Medeiros and her husband Bob of Dighton; her son Allyn Paull and wife Joanne of Taunton; her son Robert Paull and wife Nancy of Plymouth; her brother Thomas Turgeon and wife Rita of Hanover; She leaves her beloved grandchildren, Jeffrey Ferreira, Marc Ferreira, Bethany Fontaine, Justin Paull, Alex Paull, Shane Paull, Shannon Paull, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis (“Torchy”) Paull, and her brothers, Gerard Turgeon, Roger Turgeon, and Noel Turgeon, and son-in-law, Raymond Ferreira.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 22nd in Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church, 31 1st Street, Taunton, MA 02780. Burial will be in Mayflower Cemetery, Taunton. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton. Visiting hours are kindly omitted.
