Obituary

WORCESTER - Myrtice A. Morin, 86 of Worcester passed away peacefully at her home with her beloved family at her side on January 10, 2021. Her husband of forty-seven years, Ernest F. Morin predeceased her in 2002.

Myrtice is survived by her children, Ernest F. Morin II and his wife Judith of Texas, Deborah A. Kempton and her husband Stephen of Worcester, Theresa A. Wilmot and her husband Mark of North Oxford, William T. Morin of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; a sister, Muriel Halloran of Worcester and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Myrtice was born and raised in Worcester a daughter of the late Naomi and Thomas Genduso.

Mrs. Morin worked a short time for Dapol Plastics Co. of Worcester, but left to care for and raise her beautiful family. A devout Catholic, Myrtice drew great strength and faith from the Rosary and religiously watched her daily Catholic Mass. She was a true Patriot who loved her country. Myrtice enjoyed classic movies, listening to classical music and had a keen interest in sports especially the Patriots and Red Sox. Myrtice was an avid reader who loved books. She took great pleasure in scratching lottery tickets.

Funeral services are private for family. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105-9959 or to the Korean War Veterans Association, Inc., PO Box 407, Charleston, IL 61920.
