Jeanne M. Scalisi (Fitzgerald) of Medford passed away on January 14. She was 89 years old. Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Scalisi. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late William and Mary (Driscoll) Fitzgerald.
Prior to her retirement, Jeanne was employed at the Lahey Clinic as a lab assistant. She was an active parishioner of St. Raphael Church in Medford. Jeanne was a member of the St. Raphael Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed traveling and spending her winters in Florida, but most importantly, Jeanne loved spending time with her family and friends.
Jeanne was the devoted mother of Robert A. Scalisi Jr. and his wife Karen of Medford, Susan Scalisi-Snow and her husband Ernest of Bradenton, FL. and the late William Scalisi of FL. She was the adored grandmother of James Scalisi and his wife Jody of North Andover, Christopher Scalisi and his wife Kara of Reading, Lisa Scalisi of Wakefield, Michael Dwyer of CA, Kristina McLaughlin and her husband Paul of NH, and William Dwyer and his wife Marcy of FL. and the loving great-grandmother of Joseph, Sabrina, Kaitlin and Ryan Scalisi and Cailin McLaughlin. Jeanne was the dear sister of the late William Fitzgerald and the late Alyce Fitzgerald. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Saturday, January 23 from 8:30-10:30AM, followed by a funeral Mass in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11AM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend and must follow the current social distance protocols at the funeral home and at the church.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
