Worcester – Thomas Falconer, 70, of Worcester, died on Tuesday, January 12th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus after an extended illness.

Mr. Falconer is survived by his two sons, Thomas Falconer Jr. of Douglas and James Falconer of Oxford; two sisters, Carol Gingras of Millbury and Louise A. Doyle of Grafton; a step sister, Joan Powlics of Worcester; a step brother, Richard Landry of Worcester; a step daughter Karen Barszcz of Auburn; 3 grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Tom was born in Worcester, son of the late George and Marion (Curran) Falconer and is also predeceased by a step son, Keith Bernard. Tom worked for many years as a sales representative retiring from WESCO Corporation.

Mr. Falconer enjoyed camping and sailing in Hyannis, but most of all he had a love for music that started at a young age, at 13 he started a garage band called the “Beep Beep and the Road Runners” where he was the bass guitarist for many years.

Funeral services are being held privately with public services to be held at a later date. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester is directing arrangements
