Victoria C. Linari, 101

Victoria C. (Copparini) Linari, 101, of Mansfield died on Thursday March 16, 2006 at The Epoch Senior Healthcare Center in Norton, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo A. Linari to whom she was married to for 59 years at the time of his death on September 17, 1993.
Born in Cesano, a province of Rome, Italy on July 31, 1904 she was a dear daughter of the late Paul and Ida (Zarlocco) Copparini.
She left Italy at the age of 8 to move to America. She settled in Mansfield and remained a lifelong resident. She was always proud to have been confirmed at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome before leaving Italy. She was educated in Mansfield Schools. After her marriage to Angelo she devoted her life to her family serving as a homemaker.
A woman of deep faith, she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield. She was a former active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Women’s Club. Her favorite times spent were those with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling, especially to her native Italy. She enjoyed trips to West Yarmouth and seeing the ocean. She was an avid music lover, her favorite type being opera. Her family also remembers the enjoyment she received from sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her devoted children Robert A. Linari and his wife Heike of Mansfield, Angela J. Seaver and her husband Gene of Keene, New Hampshire and Dr Ronald F. Linari of Franklin. Her loving grandchildren Scott Linari of Dedham, Stacey Seaver of Atlanta, Georgia, Carin Tessier of North Attleboro, Michael Seaver of Oceanside, New York and Stephanie Linari of Mansfield. Her cherished great grandchildren Jack, Emily, Hannah, Eric, Riley and Emma. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Victoria was pre-deceased by her 6 siblings.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Monday March 20th at 9:30 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St.(Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday March 19th from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
