Clara Jane (Ford) Watson,86, of 2 Chickering Rd., died Wednesday,
March 15 at her home.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, George W. Watson, Sr., a son George W.
Watson, Jr. and his wife Susan J. of Spencer, two daughters Eleanor M. and
her husband Paul H. Horan of Webster and Rhonda J. and her husband Gary R.
Collette of Brookfield, a brother George E. and his wife Ethel Ford of
Goldsboro, N.C., nine grand children Katie, Daniel, and Adam Watson, Robert,
Peter and Judith Horan, Crystal, Elizabeth and Darryl Collette, four great
grand children Kira, Kaylynn, Patrick and Ellie Horan, and several nieces
and nephews. She is predeceased by brothers James and William Ford.
Born in Buena Vista, Pa., she was the daughter of William and Maude (Brown)
Ford. Along with her husband, they owned and operated "Springdell Farm"
where they made their home for the last 40 years.
Mrs. Watson was a member of the First Congregational Church of Spencer and
was active in the Women's Fellowship Committee for many years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 18 at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI
MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in
Union Cemetery, Charlton. A calling hour will be held on Saturday from 10 to
11a.m., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made
