Obituary

Today Jose Allen Zuniga or “Jay” as some knew him, left us Saturday January 3, 2021 after a jeep accident.

He is survived by his mom Phyllis Sargent and his little sister Selena Zuniga both of Halifax, Gram Virginia Sargent of Rockland, aunt Pam Jones of Plymouth, Maine, uncle Bruce Earl/ Brenda Earl of Seattle, Washington, and great uncles and aunts who loved him. Also his father Jose Zuniga of Mexico.

Jose joined the National Guard when he turned 17, he was in the 181-Infantry Unit who went to Afghanistan to fight in Operation Enduring Freedom and came home a man.

He was a hard worker, building houses, paving, concrete, roofing with Skip John and the guys. Always with a helping hand when anyone needed it.

Jose, loved going to Maine and New Hampshire with friends and family. He was a person who loved life to the fullest and would give you his shirt off his back even if he knew it was the only shirt he had. The only fault he had in life was he couldn’t find the right other half of him to spend with the rest of his life.

We will miss you, love mom and sister.

All services will be private.
