Penny Lynn Bohannon Peters, 57, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021, in Omega. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Ms. Peters will be laid to rest at a later date. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals immediately following the service. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed during the service and the visitation.
Born June 15, 1963 in Fitzgerald, Ms. Peters was the daughter of Betty Smith Rineair of Tifton and the late Raymond Bohannon. In addition to her father, Ms. Peters was preceded in death by one son, Trenton “TJ” Peters. She was a homemaker. She loved her family very much and they loved her as well.
In addition to her mother, Ms. Peters is survived by three sons, Jason Bohannon of Cordele, Mathew Peters of Omega and Carlos Rickaby of Utah; four daughters, Brandi Jordan and Alicia Gomez, both of Tifton and Victoria Coey and Abella Rickaby, both of Colorado; one brother, Rocky Bohannon of Albany; one sister, Bett Purvis of Enigma; thirteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
