Funeral services for Ronnie Croft, age 63, 9592 Tippetville Rd., Vienna, Ga. will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 18, 2006 at the Tippetville Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Tippetville Cemetery. Mr. Croft died Thursday in Taylor Regional Medical Center in Hawkinsville, Ga. following a sudden illness.
Mr. Croft was born in Colquitt Co., Georgia and was the son of the late Byron W. and Martha Boyd Croft. He was a self employed timber buyer and had lived in Dooly County for the last 16 years. He served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Croft is survived by his wife Laura Hall, Vienna, Ga., children, Marshall & Donna Croft, of Hahira, Ga., Donna “Sissy” & Tim Harkins, Woodstock, Ga. and one step son, Robert Hall of Vienna. Also surviving are four brothers, Zed Croft, St Cloud, Florida, Lamar Croft, Moultrie, Ga., Roger Croft, Elk Horn, Kentucky, Joe Croft, Moultrie, Ga. and three sisters , Merle Byrum, Vienna, Ga., Juanita Shelton, Vienna, Ga. and Connie Davis, Moultrie, Ga. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 step grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday at Tippettville Baptist Church.
