Margaret “Peggy” (O’Neill) Boehner, age 79, beloved wife for 59 years to Frederick Boehner, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, January 12th, 2020. Born on February 9, 1941 she was the daughter of the late Thomas J. and Patricia “McCabe” O’Neill. Peggy was a graduate of Taunton High School in 1958 and later was employed by General Dynamics as a receptionist for 25 years. She was a devout Catholic and was a member of St. Jude’s Church. Peggy loved shopping, spending time with her friends, traveling to Florida, and driving throughout Massachusetts to watch her grandchildren's sporting events. She volunteered her time at the Taunton City Hall for many years. Peggy also loved helping others and was warm and welcoming to everyone she came in contact with. She is survived by her husband Frederick, her son Frederick “Ted” Boehner and his wife Marnie Cunniff-Boehner of Raynham and daughter Patricia Winslow and her husband Jake Winslow of Rochester. In addition, Peggy’s beloved grandchildren; Erinn, Brooke, Tessa, and Brock. Sister of the late Patricia Cottrell and Thomas J. O’Neill III and many family and friends who loved her dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Jude the Apostle Church in Taunton on January 28th at 10am. Interment St Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
