David M. Masciarelli of Canton passed away January 12th at the New England Sinai Hospital. A lifelong resident of Canton, he graduated from Canton High School and was the Owner of Canton Pool for many years before retiring. Dave enjoyed making wine, family cookouts and was a handyman who could fix anything. Beloved husband of the late Olive J. (Coan). Father of David Masciarelli and his wife Cynthia of Sharon, Joe Masciarelli and his wife Debi of Canton and Donna Michaels and her husband John of Canton. Grandfather of Julie Mansen, Jillian Spinale, Ryan Masciarelli, Niki Chiarello and David and Kevin Michaels. Great grandfather of Olivia and Anthony Spinale, Jennifer Mansen and Henry Chiarello. Brother of the late Anna Hennessey, Claire Willis, Richard, John, and Ralph Masciarelli. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday from 5-7 pm. Due to the current Covid 19 Restrictions only 10 guests are permitted within the funeral home at once and masks are required. A private burial will be held at Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Canton EMT Assn 99 Revere St. Canton, MA 02021.
