William Charles Lohsen, 94, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Lohsen at 4:00 Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest. The Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate.
Born February 26, 1926 in Garfield, New Jersey, Mr. Lohsen was the son of the late Charles Henry Lohsen and Minnie Margaret Alnor Lohsen. He was a retired butcher and a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Lohsen is survived by his wife Eva Anne Ruse Lohsen of Tifton; one son, Dave Lohsen of Tifton; one daughter, Diane McNamara of Smithfield, Virginia; five grandchildren, Alicia Armellino Bowman, Matthew Armellino, Angela Armellino Thompson, Allison Lohsen, and Jennifer Lohsen; and five great-grandchildren, Ava Rayanne Armellino, Izabel Hodges, Ryder Thompson, Benjamin Bowman, and Ava Grace Armellino.
