William (Billy) Tierney Jr.
Bill Tierney Jr. passed away suddenly on January 7, 2021. The son of Margaret (Bazarian) and William Tierney Sr., he was a resident of Watertown, Maynard and Marlborough, Massachusetts. A 1965 graduate of Watertown High School, Bill served honorably in the United States Army after high school. He served multiple tours in Vietnam with the Army Signal Corps. Upon his return from service, Bill worked as a chemical technician for Monsanto in Everett.
Bill was an ardent golfer. He loved to play pool, cards and bingo and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and canoeing. He loved watching movies and relished Armenian food. He occasionally traveled from his home in Marlborough to Watertown to partake in the local ethnic cuisine.
Due to COVID restrictions, funeral arrangements are private. A graveside service will be held in the Spring. Donations in Bill’s memory may be made to a Veteran’s organization of choice.
