Joel "Rebel" Reyes passed away on January 4, 2021.
Joel was a charming and charismatic man who was always ready with a joke, prepared to make you laugh. He had in infectious smile & a big heart. Really you couldn't help but like him once you met him. He was fiercely passionate about life in whatever he was doing. He had a quick wit and love for a challenge; Joel was who you wanted on your team. He did his best to live his life right, staying true to himself. He made his own rules. He enjoyed life. Ready to go fishing in an instant, he was an adventurer. He also enjoyed his sister's cooking, Bob Marley's music, his fabulous hair and his love for his God, family & most importantly, his children. His passing leaves a void in many lives. Joel will truly be missed. Joel is the father of 4 children; Joel Jr. (New Bedford), Andrew, (Frederick ,Ok), Damien (Taunton) and his only daughter, Darien, (Brockton). The son of Rosario Sr. ( Fort Myers) and the late Elsa Reyes (New Bedford). He is the brother of the late Rosario Jr. (Providence); Elsa Janet (Fall River); Jose (Providence) and Jacqueline (Providence). A nephew, uncle, cousin of many and friend to many more.
For those wishing to pay their last respects to this amazing man, a (Social Distance) Memorial Service will be held at the O'Keefe Wade Funeral Home
