Obituary

Yvette Marie Locke (58) of Brockton MA, died suddenly at home after battling a long term illness. She was the loving wife of William Locke.

Yvette was born in Boston and raised in Pembroke. The daughter of the late Edward Lee Adams III and the late Sandra (Anderson) Adams. She graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School class of 1980 and the Massasoit Community College - Nursing Program. She worked as a RN at the Guardian Center in Brockton and previously at St. Joseph Manor. Patients described her as an angel. She enjoyed listening to music, playing video games and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.

In addition to her husband she is survived by 2 sons, Kyle Adams of Whitman and Brandon Adams of Brockton, 2 daughters, Christine Adams of Brockton and Deena Adams of Brockton, her step daughter Maranda Rainaud (Locke) of New Hampshire, 2 brothers, Edward Lee Adams III of California and Keith D. Adams of Florida, 3 sisters, Elise Horton of Brockton, Andrea Adams of Attleboro and Grace Matthews of Georgia, 14 grandchildren, many nieces and a nephew.

Funeral Services in the Home of Funerarias Multi Culturel, 238 Court Street Brockton Friday January 22nd at 10:30 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing 9 am prior to services.

Yvette was an advocate for informing others on contributing to become an organ donor.

Due to the COVID-19 Massachusetts Phase 3 Guidelines the Funeral Home will be open to 25 percent occupancy, face masks are required and please practice social distancing. We are all in this together.
