Tom was employed by the Prudential and Liberty Mutual Insurance Companies where he utilized his considerable writing skill as a technical writer, videographer, and photographer, writing, creating and designing advertising print and video material.

He was predeceased by his parents, and siblings, Gloria M. Cafarella, of Malden and Lawrence J. Brescia, Jr., of Juno Beach, Florida. Tom is survived by daughters, Kristen (Brescia) Kingsley, and husband Sean Kingsley, of Lynnfield, and Sara Brescia and husband, Matson O’Real, of Sea Island,

Tom Brescia was known as incredibly smart, creative, and compassionate. He was a talented writer, photographer, videographer, creator and singer. He enjoyed nothing more in life than time with his daughters. His goofy and childlike sense of humor belied his vast knowledge of history, art, science and literature which made him the perennial winner of family holiday games.
