Zofia R. Kaminski, Age 83, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021. Zofia was born in Warsaw, Poland
and emigrated to the United States at the age of 12 with family. She was the daughter of the late Maria
Gora and Celestyn Turczyk.
Zofia was a loving and devoted mother to five children who raised her family in Braintree, MA and later
moved to N. Andover, MA where she lived for many years. Zofia was a hairdresser for most of her life
who ran her own salon in Andover, MA. Zofia loved to sing, dance, play the accordion and always
enjoyed entertaining others. Her infectious smile and sense of humor could light up any room.
Zofia was a lover of animals and enjoyed spending quality time with her cat Pupa. She was always
thoughtful and caring of others especially her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and
loved her.
Zofia is predeceased by her brother Zbygniew Turczyk. She is survived by her sister Danuta Wisniewski,
her five children; Victor Kaminski, Teresa Mueller, Peter Kaminski, Fred Kaminski and Zofia Kaminski, her
niece Elizabeth Klocek and husband Paul Klocek, her grand-niece Paulina Klocek, her nephews Richard
and John Turczyk and four grandchildren; Jill, Grace, Jeremy and Jessica.
A memorial service and celebration of Zofia’s life will take place on a later date due to the current virus
restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the Inn at Parker Station, 46
