CLANCY, JOHN D. of So. Boston, formerly of Roxbury passed away on January 4, 2021. John was a lifelong member of The Chippewa Club. Loving father of Seanna Clancy of Boston & Noreen Clancy of So. Boston. Dear grandfather of Stephen Beck. Beloved great Grandfather “Papa” of Jade & John D. Beck. Cherished brother of Thomas & his wife Patricia, Donald & his wife Sharon of Squantum. Caring brother-in-law of Marion Clancy of Squantum. John was pre-deceased by his siblings Edward “Sonny” & his wife Marjorie, Joan (Clancy) & her husband Henry Bunszell, William “Mike” & his wife Geraldine & twin brother Paul “Patty” Clancy. Also lovingly survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, SOUTH BOSTON on Friday from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Monica Church on Saturday at 10 AM. followed by interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
