Obituary

Teresa “Milone” Rossetti passed away peacefully with her children beside her at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington on December 31st. She was 75.

Born and raised in Naples, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Maria (Avitabile) Milone. Teresa came to the United States in 1961 and lived in Medford before settling in Stoneham. She worked at Schrafft's Candies before helping her husband Gerardo “Jerry” at Fleet Fruit for many years. Teresa was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She enjoyed entertaining everyone and made sure she always had food ready for everyone. She and her husband of 50 years, enjoyed spending time at their winter home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The beloved wife of late Gerardo “Jerry” Rossetti, devoted mother to Linda Mello and her fiancée John Layton of Stoneham, Vincenzo Rossetti of Stoneham, John Rossetti and his wife Melissa of Melrose, Anthony Rossetti and his wife Danielle of Saugus. She was a devoted grandmother to Niko and Matteo Mello, Isabella Puglia-Rossetti, Mia and Luca Rossetti, and Bradley Petelle. She was also a devoted grandmother to fur babies: Kimba, Zeta and Tyler.

She was a dear sister to Aniello "Neil" Milone of Weymouth, Antonio "Tony" Milone of Weymouth, late Anna Maria Santarpia, Angelo Milone, Rosa Recupero and Luigi Milone. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday January 15th from 3 through 7 PM and again on Saturday Morning January 16th at 9 for a procession to St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, for a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 10 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
