Jessie Jewell (Arms) Scott, 87, of Anderson, died January 2, 2021 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on August 12, 1933 in Burkesville, KY, the daughter of Johnny and Hattie (Jones) Arms. She moved to Anderson in 1965 and married James W. Scott on April 9, 1965. Jessie was a homemaker and enjoyed rummage sales and flea markets.
She is survived by her two children, Linda (David) Welch and Ray Scott all of Anderson; her grandson Jared Scott and a great grandchild, Kynden, and several nieces and nephews.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and five siblings; William (Grace) Arms, Thomas (Cleaphos) Arms, and Minnie (Armstead) Hulse all of Kentucky, and James (Lenore) Arms and Ruth (Johnny) Ferguson of Indiana.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
