Died December 31, 2020
Passed away peacefully at home. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 74 years, Janis; great granddaughter Sophia Rosolanka; daughter-in-law Maureen Weber. Survived by children Linda (Stephen) Collins, Stephen Weber, Robert (Mary) Weber, Mary (James) Wold, Monica (Fred) Dansdill, Catherine (James) Miettunen, Jenna (James) Courrier, Dan (Amy) Weber; 25 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; nieces & nephews; sister-in-law, Phyllis (Paul) Urbanski. He was a man of strong faith and longtime parishioner of St. Casimir parish. Leo was a dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, & great grandfather. Served in United States Navy World War II in both European and Pacific Theaters; survivor of Normandy Invasion. Founded Weber Electric in 1960. President of St Paul Chapter of NECA (National Electrical Contractors’ Association); National Vice President of NECA (1986 – 1989); National President of NECA (1990 – 1993). Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1725 Kennard St., Maplewood on Friday, January 8, 2021. No Visitation. Memorials preferred to Gary Sinise Foundation (supports America’s heroes and their loved ones) or VFW Foundation. Brothers Steve, Rob and Dan express our sincere appreciation for the loving care our sisters, Linda, Mary, Monica, Cathy and Jenna provided for our beautiful parents the past many years. We love you so much.
