SOMERSET – Joyce Raposa, age 87 of Somerset and formerly of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Newport, VT, Joyce was the daughter of the late Jay Lyon and the late Luva Bugsby and the beloved wife of the late James M. Raposa.
Joyce is survived by her daughter: Sandy L. Vendetti of Fall River and her son: James M. “Jimmy” Raposa (fiancée Paula) of Somerset. She also leaves behind a brother and sister, 6 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, & nieces and nephews. Joyce was also predeceased by some of her other brothers & sisters.
