SPENCER: Warren A. Anderson, 90, of Spencer died Thursday, December 17 in UMass Memorial Health Care after an illness.
His wife of 62 years Evelyn L. (Smith) Anderson died in March, 2020. He leaves his sister-in law Beverly Nicklin and her husband James Nicklin of Winchester, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Anderson was born in Worcester, son of Albert and Hilda (Anderson) Anderson. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade in Worcester. He was a maintenance supervisor at Our Lady of the Angels School in Worcester for many years retiring in 1990. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He volunteered his time to the Town of Spencer for many years on several different committees and boards, including 6 years on the Spencer Finance Committee. He and his wife were very active on the Cranberry Lake Association and he served as their Past President for several years.
A private funeral and burial in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester took place on December 22. J. HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOMES, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer directed funeral arrangements
