David K. Day, 65, of Anderson, went home to be with the Lord on December 25, 2020.
He was born on July 15, 1955 in Tipton County and was the son of Carl and Pearl (Barnes) Day. He was a resident of the Parkway Group Home. He worked at the Hopewell Center for many years and also had worked at rest areas.
David was always smiling and never complained. He loved God and going to church at First Baptist Church, Anderson. He was an avid Beatles fan. He loved watching all the old tv shows and wrestling, and knew all the answers on Wheel Of Fortune! He enjoyed family gatherings and looked forward to snow on Christmas. He will be so greatly missed, but never forgotten.
He is survived by his sisters, Shirley Hartzell and Patty Cooper and his brother, Michael Day. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
David was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Marcia Snodgrass and Connie Jameson, a niece, Venus Couch, and 5 brothers-in-law, Dennis Hartzell, Conrad Snodgrass, Larry Friggle, Paul Couch and Bill Cooper.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 1:30 PM with Pastor Brian Ball officiating at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 12:30- 1:30 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to First Baptist Church.
Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
