In Boston, December 25, 2020 Harry Papp Jr. husband of Rita (Gillis) died at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital in Boston with his family by his side at the age of 79. Born in Boston, Harry was the son of the late Harry and Josephine (Trupasso) Papp Sr. Harry was a graduate of South Boston High School and was the owner and operator of Superior Sheet Metal Inc. for over forty years in Randolph. Harry enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley, reading, Italian dinners with family and fixing up old tractors was his favorite hobby. Visiting the Cape and in his younger years running the Falmouth road race alongside family members. Summers spent on White Island Pond boating, jet skiing and endless clam bakes with friends and family. Harry raised Beagles and was a member of the Bridgewater Beagle Club in Bridgewater and also the Archery Club in Braintree. He was the father of Harry Papp III and his wife Lynda of Duxbury, Tina Papp of Raynham, Charlene Standish and her husband Jason of Plympton and Casey Holland and her husband John of Raynham. Grandfather of Robert Papp of Raynham, Harry and Renee Papp of Duxbury, Jason, Josephine and Charley Standish of Plympton, Aubriella and John Holland Jr. of Raynham. Brother of Joan Leombruno and her husband Ron of Granby, MA, Phyllis Rice and her husband John of Lady Lake, FL and the late Marilyn Reyenger. Uncle of many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Street Cemetery in Raynham on Monday, January 4th at 11 AM relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
