Gail M. (Nash) Gabriele age 78 of Plymouth died December 26, 2020 at her home under the loving care of her family. She was the devoted wife of Frank R. Gabriele for 55 years.
Gail was a daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Knight) Nash. She was born and raised in Brockton, and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1961. She moved to Whitman in 1965 where she resided for 49 years.
One of her first and most beloved jobs was in sales at Ganley’s Department Store on Main Street in Brockton. She retired from a financial institution in Brockton after working with them for many years.
Walking for hours was Gail’s favorite activity. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, stenciling, ceramics, flower arranging and folk art painting. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Gail was nurturing to her family and husband. She will be forever remembered as the nicest person you would want to know and always having a smile on her face. Gail thought of everyone else before herself. She was stronger than we ever knew.
Gail is the loving mother of Frank Gabriele and his fiancée Michelle Lovell of E. Wareham and Gina Fruzzetti and her husband Richard of Floral City, FL. She is the grandmother of Jessica Gabriele and great grandmother of JoLeah Dacey and Emily Turenne. Gail is the sister of Kenny Nash of Wildwood, FL; Donald Nash, Brenda Donahue and Peter Nash all of Brockton and the late David, Bobby, Danny, Eddy, and Paul Nash.
Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday 4-7pm. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church Thursday at 9am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery. In following COVID guidelines, masks must be worn and social distancing observed. There is a maximum of 25 people in the funeral home at any one time.
