FALL RIVER – Eileen Boucher, age 79, passed away on December 23, 2020 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred Boucher. Born in Somerset, she was the daughter of the late Alden B. and Hermina (Anselmo) Cowen. Eileen enjoyed camping, playing cards and visit the casino. She loved to play Bingo and called out the numbers at Somerset Senior Center. But most of all she loved her dog, Rocky. She was known as a great baker and loved to give away all her baked goods.
Eileen is survived by her children Wilfred Boucher Jr. and his wife Patricia of Assonet, Gary Boucher of Swansea and Doreen Constancia and her husband Joseph of Dighton; grandson Wilfred Boucher III; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Thomas, Linwood, Alden Jr. Edward, David, Leonard, Lewis and Geraldine Cowen and Cynthia Botelho as well as her adopted son Brian Levesque.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Thursday, Dec 31st with extended calling hours from 8:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Louis de France Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment private. www.rogersfuneral.com.
