Anna A. Stone, 93 of Peabody, died Sunday after a brief illness in the Kaplan Family Hospice House Danvers, MA.
Born in Boston, she lived in Medford for many years and moved to Peabody 5 years ago. Anna was the daughter of the late Ermine (Costello) and John Polcari. She was a Stitcher for many years at the former New England Bedding of Medford and Colony House of Cambridge.
Beloved wife of the late Abraham Stone. Devoted mother of Allen Stone and his wife Melrene of Wakefield/Revere, Alice Contardo and her husband Bill of Laconia, NH, Joseph Stone of Maryland, Ralph Stone and his wife Gene of California. Also survived by 19 loving grandchildren, 15 loving great grandchildren, and 6 loving great great grandchildren. Sister of Vickie Nowak of Peabody.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Friday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
